JW Marriott Seoul
Guest Chef Fills Olivo with Tuscan Ambiance

Tuscany’s landscape, heritage and cuisine have made it one of the world’s top tourist destinations. While authentic Tuscan dining normally takes several hours and thousands of dollars to reach, Olivo in the JW Marriott Seoul will have it readily available in September, courtesy of Italian chef Fabio Polidori.

Chef Polidori will leave Bangkok’s Renaissance Ratchaprasong Hotel long enough to prepare an unforgettable gala dinner and teach two Tuscan cooking classes in Seoul. Five dishes in his six-course gala dinner are complemented by hand-picked Italian wines. Highlights include a dry Lucanto Trebbiano served with Tonno e Fagioli (yellow-fin tuna and cannellini bean salad); a Cennatoio Chianti with Pappardelle con l’anatra (hand-made pasta with duck ragout and pecorino cheese); and a rich Cabernet Sauvignon Etrusco with Agnello ai carciofi, the main course of lamb cutlet with fresh artichokes and mint. The gala dinner set will be available on September 22 for 160,000 won, excluding tax and service charge.

And two Saturday Cooking classes with Chef Polidori will be held on September 17 and 24. The cooking class will be running from 9:00 to 11:00 am, Chef Polidori will show a variety of traditional Tuscan dishes including chef’s secret recipe.
